Pure Beauty

Tess, sweet gentle Tess. She came into my home November 4, 2010 with her brother Thor as fosters. Unfortunately the pair, through no fault of their own had to be surrendered from an extremely loving woman that cared deeply for her pups and was heartbroken she had no other option than to call Dobe Rescue as sometimes situations change. Tess had the same loving parent for her entire life, you could tell as Tess was so well mannered and loving, never causing a problem. Sadly, Thor was unable to handle the transition to a new home and passed on shortly after coming into rescue. Tess remained in hospice care with me and boy was I ever honored to have as much time with her as I did. Initially, vets said 6wks-3mths, here this strong girl made in about a year and a half. Tess was a very strong girl, yet sensitive. She kept my girl Maddie company during Maddie's last time with us whom we lost 12/17/2011 at the age of 12. Tess was sad to see Maddie go and to keep her spirits up she often had doggy visitors and fosters for company.

She loved her blankets and beds. It didn't matter what time of year or time of day she wanted to be covered and knew how to do that herself.  So many antics she had that made us all laugh. Tess will be greatly missed. As we heal from the loss more stories will be shared on here, some days it's too hard to write them.
